Handmade Market: Shameless self promotion

So I may have mentioned this earlier, but the Winter Warmer Handmade Market is on this Saturday at Albert Hall featuring the best designers and crafts people in town. I have finished preparations and have had a little fun styling my wares ready for the big day. So may I proudly present Tango & James nest Autumn 2009...

If you are in town, please stop by the market and say hello - I'll be up on the stage inside the hall... can't wait!

Love Nina xxx

Shameless? I think your gorgeous things are well worth a self plug my dear.

Ok, so now is the time I put in my dibbs!

If a certain girl was to desire a certain tall lamp with a hypothetical shade that included the colour red, what would be on offer to this girl?

Velveteen

Was lovely to see your stall and meet you. I love my new lamp, it's already in its new posi in our family room and it looks gorgeous.

Thanks for blogging about the markets, I feel all inspired and crafty now.

Phew... I think I have recovered now! Such a busy and exhausting day, and wonderful to meet so many readers of Canberra's Got Style - thankyou for visiting!!! You made my day!

Although the crowds were pretty solid at times (and I sadly couldn't physically talk to everyone who came past - how awful!) the market was such a brilliant platform to chat with other design minded Canberrans and inspire others who seek it.

And a bit of a revelation for me... I may need to go into more of the chair upholstery, I think there were more than a few tears shed when they were sold! Same with the tall lamps!

I only wish I'd had more of a chance to see all of the other stalls out there - so many talented makers. Oh well until next time... stay tuned here... I'll be back!

Me again! One of my friends would like one of your tall lamps for her birthday. Any chance I could order one?

Julaberry - I will see if I can get the tall lamp bases again, they were a bit of a lucky find I fear. If I do, which colour shade did you fancy?

Cheers,
