What a weekend!

This weekend I made a new friend, fabulous milliner, interior designer and make-up artiste, Viktoria Novak. Stay tuned for 400 reasons why she shall be crowned Canberra's own Imelda!

I met her at the Carmen Steffens Spring range launch (below), the collection of course is all completely covetable. Also at the launch was the inimitable Canberra stylista Lizzie Wagner and some of her gorgeous models (below). I had a lovely chat with Juan who will be strutin' for the Canberra Centre's High Tea fashion event next weekend, so we'll be seeing more of him then.

Next I stepped out looking all frenchy in my DIY SJP re-deaux stripe top, for a mournful occasion - my lovely gal pal Ali is moving her gorgeous self to Sydney (gasp!) to persue new horizons. Several glasses of bubbles had us in a happy place!

And finally for father's day, I went all Martha and made some actually quite healthy sausage rolls, and a nice batch of brownies with a secret ingredient or two (green stuff - but it's not what you're thinking!!!). These special recipes are from my new fave cook book by Jessica Sienfeld (at all good book stores). If you've got kids who aren't fond of their greens you may want to have sex with this book...

...and I found another use for the frightfully cute eggcups with feet, happy dipping!

Hope you had a fab fun weekend too... so what did you get up to? I'd love to hear about it!

I am in LOVE with your top! It is the sort of thing that I have spent YEARS trying to find, only to no success, haha! Would you consider making any more and selling them? I would love to buy one!
